We are seeking a technically savvy Software Product Manager to join the team to lead planning and execution of top-to-bottom cloud software stacks that ensure our platform innovation and value are available for End Users to run differentiated workloads and services on our platforms at launch.
This is a critical role within the product management organisation, where you will be collaborating with multiple stakeholders both inside and outside Intel and operating at all stages in the product lifecycle - from product concept through to delivery of Intel platforms. Within the software Center of Excellence, you will have a leading role in building cloud-based SW architectures that serve all of Intel's vast Market segments including Cloud, Networking, Edge, IoT, Enterprise and HPC.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Developing strategies and detailed software plans to enable Intel platforms and technologies for consumption by end customers at launch.
Generating structured Product Requirements based upon feedback from customers, internal teams and DPG business partners.
Prioritising requirements within the product/project scope and contributing to the SW prioritization centralization effort
Understanding of software technologies on Intel Platforms solution stacks, leading open source projects, industry standards and emerging areas of interest (e.g. Cloud Native and microservices)
Working closely with outstanding Engineering teams, Product Managers, Program Managers, Software Architects, Sales and Marketing teams bringing new capabilities of the software stack to the market. You will bring new features to life by infusing customer and market insights into the product
Path finding opportunities: Identifying emerging industry technology trends, developing new business or project proposals, determining technical feasibility, validating customer interest and driving investment decisions and action plans.
Enabling ecosystem: Successfully enabling software industry or ecosystem on Intel initiatives.
Creating internal and external targeted collateral that showcases the goodness of Intel products in the context of real customer deployments

Experience with software engineering, product development functions, and understanding of how Intel products are used in real deployments in cloud, network, edge, etc
Customer Obsession: Proven track record of working with customers (internal or external) on product definition in early planning, execution and delivery
Business acumen: Comprehends business needs and priorities, develop strategies and actions that make a significant impact.
Strategic thinking: Comprehend the big picture, envision near term and long term scenarios, contemplate potential implications and identify actions to pursue.
Creative problem solving skills.
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or related technical degree.
6+ years of proven technical experience in the data center, cloud, and/or networking domains (product management, engineering, program management)
3+ years of experience in driving programs across organizations
Technical documentation experience
Experience interacting with customers in the design and deployment of automated, scale computing environments using both open-source commercial and home-grown custom software
Masters degree / PhD is a plus
