Job Description

About the Group:

As an integral part of Intel’s new IDM2.0 strategy, we are establishing Intel Foundry Services (IFS), a fully vertical, standalone foundry business, reporting directly to the CEO. IFS will be a world-class foundry business and major provider of US and European-based capacity to serve customers globally. Intel Foundry Services will be differentiated from other Foundry offerings with a combination of leading-edge packaging and process technology, committed capacity in the US and Europe – available for customers globally – and a world-class IP portfolio that customers can chose from including x86 cores, graphics, media, display, AI, interconnect, fabric and other critical foundational IP, along with ARM and RISC-V ecosystem IPs. IFS will also provide access to silicon design services to help our customers seamlessly turn silicon into solutions, using industry standard design packages. This business unit is completely dedicated to the success of its customers with full P&L responsibilities. This model will ensure that our foundry customers’ products will receive our utmost focus in terms of service, technology enablement and capacity commitments. IFS is already engaged with customers today starting with our existing foundry offerings and we are expanding imminently to include our most advanced technologies, which are optimized for cutting-edge performance, making them ideal for high-performance applications.

About the Role
Intel Foundry Services is looking for a highly collaborative and experienced leader, responsible for initiating and closing customer opportunities. In this capacity, the primary focus for the leader will be to help initiate and execute business development opportunities with a service mindset while aligning on target markets and customers. This role requires knowledge of fabless semiconductor customers, business development on a global scale, and comprehensive understanding of design and manufacturing solutions for developing a winning strategic customer base. Create strategic value-add joint projects to help drive commercial negotiations with customers to the finish line to ensure win-win outcomes.


Responsibilities:
Execute Intel Foundry Services' customer acquisition roadmap for key strategic accounts
Develop and execute business strategy and drive new revenue sources for the organization
Build pricing and cost model with performance, shrink factor, yield, and capacity knowledge to aid negotiation of strategic and complex design and manufacturing deals
Collaborate with members of the IFS team and supporting organizations to ensure excellent customer experience across all customer interactions and requirements, from needs assessment to final delivery.
Help coach and grow IFS Business Development teams' resources
Review customer activity, anticipate customer needs, and improve customer satisfaction.

Evaluate and manage new strategic business opportunities, initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, alliances and/or joint ventures.

Provide leadership in the planning, designing, due diligence, and implementing of strategic business objectives.

Experience Required:
Broad technical background across the semiconductor domain.

5+ years success in driving advance technology adoption. Proven track records in anticipating technology/ design or product planning issues
Proven leadership capabilities in a multi-cultural and cross-functional team environment.
 


Qualifications

Degree in Engineering with 10+ years of design technical role in cross-functional environment.
