Are you a cyber security professional who desires to make a difference in the security of products?  Someone who wants to drive real improvements into real products by using black hat techniques to understand risk?   We are looking for a talented penetration tester, comfortable seeking out both hardware and software vulnerabilities across a diverse product portfolio.

As a key member of an elite penetration testing team, you’ll have the opportunity to…

·Go beyond traditional scanner-based penetration testing methods

·Use experience and creativity to drive your manual penetration testing efforts

·Find all the vulnerabilities, exploit the ones that are fun

·Partner with development teams to remediate cyber security issues

·Purple team exercises to quickly improve security posture

·Participate in select, high profile penetration testing projects with executive report outs

YOU MUST HAVE:

·Bachelor’s degree 

·4 years of cyber security, IT, or development experience

·       Due to contractual requirements, must be a US citizen

WE VALUE:

·Experience as a penetration tester

·Experience with security tools and vulnerability scanning technologies (Kali Linux, Nessus, etc.)

·Expert level experience with any of the following technologies:

oOperating systems (Windows, Windows Server, UNIX, Linux, MacOS)

oWeb servers, applications, and frameworks (IIS, Apache, PHP, etc.)

oDatabases (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, etc.)

oNetwork devices (routers, switches, load balancers, etc.)

oNetwork security devices (VPNs, IDS, IPS, firewalls, web application firewalls, etc.)

oApplication virtualization (Citrix, App-V, ThinApp, etc.)

oApplication containers (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)

oMobile devices and applications (android, iPadOS, etc.)

oCloud computing services (Azure, AWS, etc.)

oNon-traditional architectures, systems, and protocols (IoT, embedded systems, controllers, real-time operating systems, BACnet, etc.)

·Experience developing in one or more languages (Python, C, C++, PowerShell, PHP, etc.).

·Ability to reverse engineer and analyze source code, scripts, malware, and protocols to discover vulnerabilities and create associated exploits (buffer overflow, SQL injection, XSS, CSRF, etc.)

·Up to date knowledge of current and emerging security threats and techniques for exploiting security vulnerabilities

·Working knowledge of cyber threat intelligence and attack frameworks (Cyber Kill Chain, MITRE ATT&CK, OSSTMM, etc.)

·Ability to write detailed security reports and communicate security issues to both technical and non-technical people

·Industry standard penetration testing certifications (OSCP, OSWP, GWAPT, GXPN, etc.)

·Industry standard information technology and security certifications (CISSP, CISM, Cisco, etc.)

This role may offer the opportunity to work from home two days a week
