You are analytical, methodical, agile, and have a passion for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion with an interest in recruiting program management and support. You will act as an advocate for change and work to support strategic partnerships and programs in alignment with VMware’s priorities and working toward our 2030 goals. You’ll have the opportunity to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and support the implementation of strategic Diversity, Equity & Inclusion programs globally.
What primary need, technical challenge, and/or problem you will be responsible for?
We need a new graduate who can improve and execute the Talent Acquisition Diversity, Equity & Inclusion conference strategy and program logistics globally. This will include social media and branding, identification of giveaways, and vendor management. You’ll use targeted thinking to prioritize Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives and help to drive sustainable change within our hiring programs.
Success in the Role: What are the performance goals over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?
In the first 6 months, you will partner with experienced program managers to support Talent Acquisition Diversity, Equity & Inclusion hiring programs, get involved with our Power of Difference communities, work on our conference strategy and collaborate with internal Talent Acquisition partners on targeted Diversity, Equity & Inclusion programs and priorities. You will also begin to dive into Talent Acquisition Diversity, Equity & Inclusion data to identify area of opportunity to drive change.
What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
You will be responsible for providing support for non-traditional hiring programs. his position is appropriate for self-starters with strong analytical and organizational skills, experience in event or program management space a plus. The ideal candidate is achievement-oriented, capable of independently solving problems, has a passion for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and recruiting.
