Job Description

Position Summary

The Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Employee Resource Group (ERG) Program Manager Role is intended to be both the global program owner and a lead within the America’s.  An owner and co-creator with the ERGs, this role helps in both managing the day-to-day execution and envisioning and the long-term strategy for our ERGs at F5.  This role is a team lead to two other Diversity & Inclusion team members that help execute the strategy around the world. 

Responsibilities 

  • Responsible for our ERG leadership development program end-to-end including coordination of events and opportunities, communication, operating the annual leadership selection process and identifying improvement to the program over time.
  • Fosters the ERG Global Co-Chair community; hosting regular meetings, seeking input and feedback, and connecting leaders to enhance each other’s work.  
  • Execution of the strategic planning and budgeting activities including the annual ERG summit, quarterly adjustments, and monthly budget reporting.
  • Administers the operations of the ERG community such as distribution/member lists, teams’ channels, and SharePoint sites in partnership with the ERG leaders and local Human Resources around the world.
  • Supports the ERG leaders in the America’s on a day-to-day basis with their operational needs.
  • Event planning and execution alongside our ERG community, acting as the project manager for individual events and program manager of the annual calendar.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

  • Ability to manage and prioritize a multitude of projects and programs 
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills 
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Understanding of Diversity and Inclusion within a corporate setting and/or basic employment laws

Qualifications

  • 8+ years professional experience in program design and management within Human Resources
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Effective large scale project management skills
  • Global scope and responsibility is strongly preferred
  • Experience in Diversity and Inclusion and/or Human Resources in a corporate setting.
