US Public Sector Education TSS for Client Computing Group

Job Description

This position is for a Technical Sales Specialist position reporting to the Public Sector and Education segment in the Client Computing Business Unit Sales at the HQ, responsible for advising Intel-based solutions, to Government and Education segment customers by working with partners and Intel stakeholders, advising and influencing the right solutions for Intel end-user customers, Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEMs), SIs and other partners by distilling the capabilities of IA-based platforms and translating to the value proposition.

The selected candidate will lead US Sales strategies for Education, support Intel field sales teams and will collaborate with the field in Events coordination and in positioning Intel to Influential organizations. This person will also work with the Business Unit and US field sales teams to position the right IA-based technologies for the customer and drive solution and GTM efforts with partners to maximize the benefit of Intel technologies in government and education to ultimately grow IA adoption.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Advise and influence end user customers, ISVs, OEMs, SIs and partners by distilling capabilities of Intel platforms (such as Core, vPro and Unite) and translate to the value proposition of procurement vehicles.

  • Understand the business use case and technical merits of our technologies/solutions and determining correct positioning of Intel technologies into procurement language.

  • Support Intel field sales teams in influencing end customers.

  • Provide direct technical assistance to Intel field sales teams, customers and partners, interfacing with Sr. technical decision makers for Line of Business and Operational Technology Groups and representing customer market segment requirements back into the business unit for future product planning.

  • Behavioral traits desired:

    • The candidate must be comfortable providing demos and also at building relationships with the customers in different levels such as CIO/CTO/CISO, understand their needs and winning formula, and influence their direction to achieve their goals.

    • Excellent communications skills to be comfortable to do it in written and verbal form at all levels, including at the CxO level

    • Experience in problem solving leveraging internal and partner resources where and when needed to do what's right for the customer and for the organization.

A successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Knowledge of government and education market procurement processes.

  • Knowledge and contacts in the Intel ecosystem

  • Marketing skills (Go-To-Market and Project Management)


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This Position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related technical fields

  • 5+ years of experience in similar areas and working with:

- Client Devices and technologies such as vPro, Security, manageability/AMT, Windows, Chrome and Intel Core based platforms.

- How Public-Sector & Education Organizations do benchmarking, certification, specific to procure client technologies.

- End customers and/or partners

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$171,000.00-$273,640.00
