About the job

The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an Enterprise Account Manager to join us in Manila, Philippines. In this role, you will guide sales activities for named enterprise accounts and build and maintain relationships within assigned organizations. You'll promote sales, ensure customer satisfaction, and create strategic plans for each account. You’ll need to have excellent communication skills, because you will regularly call on customer executives within your accounts. As an Enterprise Account Manager, you will also need to understand executive problems to make call scenarios, define them, and explain how Red Hat’s solutions can solve them.

What you will do

  • Sell the complete Red Hat solutions portfolio to enterprise accounts

  • Create and implement account plans to meet revenue goals

  • Develop and close sustainable bookings across technologies

  • Understand customers’ business issues and present Red Hat's offerings as the best option to solve them

  • Manage a complex sales cycle from prospecting to closing

  • Work closely with your extended Red Hat team and external partners to identify key projects, programs, and offices through which to sell Red Hat's solutions

  • Maintain and develop new relationships within your assigned accounts

What you will bring

  • 10+ years of field sales experience in the financial services industry (FSI) sector with a record of success

  • 7+ years of experience selling enterprise software and solutions

  • Experience working with customers to find suitable solutions in a rapidly evolving technology domain

  • Ability to maintain a focus on solutions selling in an environment with multiple offerings and solutions

  • Experience in consultative customer engagement with a major enterprise software company or in the sales division of an enterprise software reseller

  • Ability to work effectively with global, cross-functional teams

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technological strategies to decision makers throughout organizations including technical, business, and C-level audiences

  • Knowledge of middleware or cloud infrastructure software solutions is a plus
