The position
This process involves running advanced algorithmic code in a massively parallel way, utilizing Big Data technologies, and as such is a complex system that requires a deep understanding of our map creation process as well as advanced technical abilities.
What will your job look like?
- Ownership and responsibility for REM’s workflow manager, which includes the main Python Framework and several web-application services, used for creating our maps, enabling both fast development and running at a high scale in a production environment
- Continually develop, adjust and improve all systems and sub systems in line with customer needs
- Work with various stakeholders across the department
All you need is:
- B.s.c from University - computer science/ engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in backend development
- Experience with Python /Node.js
- Experience in distributed systems (Spark - advantage)
- Experience with databases
- Experience working with Redis, Kafka
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Cloud Services
