JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • a team of10peoplein theInternationalgroup;train, superviseandguidetheteamin various compliance issues including US tax technical analysisandeducateforeign affiliate finance teams onUS international tax reporting issues.

  • Review and analyzekey internationaltax compliance relating to Federal Forms 5471, 5472, 8858,1118, 5713, 8992 and 8993.Should havea comprehensive understanding of E&P, Subpart F, GILTI,FTC andSection861expenseallocation.Review required elections and disclosures such as check-the-box elections, DCL, GRAetc.

  • Reviewand supervise preparation ofsupporting documentation of earnings and profits pool, FTC pool, PTEP, and US tax basis for foreign subsidiaries and/or branches.

  • Monitor international tax developments and work closelywithSenior tax leaders on interpreting proposed and/or new tax legislation, Treasury regulationsand rulings.Model and present the impact of such changes for US tax compliance and financial reporting purposes.

  • Analyze existing tax reporting/compliance processes and recommend improvementstofacilitateprocess efficiencies.

  • Implement and manageautomated processes/solutions.

  • Support tax controversy teamswithInternationaltaxissues.

Your qualifications and experience should include:

  • Requires aBachelor’sdegreein Accountingand/or Finance.

  • Masters Degree in Tax, Accounting orJDstrongly preferred.

  • Must have atleast15yearsexperiencein international tax for large corporate taxpayers including substantial international tax experience (minimum 4 years) with a Big 4 accounting firm or large law firm.

  • Demonstrated experience leading a tax department for at least 5 years and work well in a diverse multicultural environment.

  • Experience with implementation and management oftechnology basedsolutions.

  • Must have the ability to coordinate and work with cross function/business segment teams.

  • Knowledgeablewith tax compliance issues,US GAAP reporting. Experiencewith IAS 12is a plus.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonaland communication skills.

annual base salary for this position is $285,000 to $300,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for.The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
