Be responsible for providing your engineering technician expertise on a variety of projects and programs for exciting new technologies in the field of Atmospheric Sensing and LiDAR. You will serve as a lead technician with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists.

• Design and Build of Electrical and Mechanical Systems
• New Product Design & Development
• Technology design
• Process development

YOU MUST HAVE

• Associate Degree or Military training
• 5+ Years of experience in a technician role
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Strong knowledge of basic circuitry and electronic theory.
• Proficient in reading and implementing complex schematics and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of test equipment, e.g. multi-meters, and oscilloscopes.
• Proven expertise in electrical and mechanical systems troubleshooting and repair
• The ability to work in a lab environment, occasionally lifting (up to 35 lb.).
• Proficiency with hand tools.
• The ability to work outside.
• The ability to work occasional overtime.
• The ability to travel occasionally (<10%).

WE VALUE

• Experience in Mechanical drafting, creating and modifying electrical system schematics
• Experience assembling, wiring, and commissioning electro-mechanical systems
• Experience writing and modifying testing and operational procedures
• Experience working with fabricators to design, build, and implement basic test fixtures.
• Experience designing and 3D printing brackets and fixtures.
