We are hiring a Technical Program Manager II to drive the execution of our offload acceleration roadmap. As part of the team, you will partner with software architects, developers, and program managers to build the solution for our fleet. This includes evaluating new and emerging acceleration technologies and optimizing I/O acceleration in the deployed Azure fleet.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

Other Qualifications:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional / Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects from concept to release including servicing & support.
  • 2+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
  • 1+ year(s) of experience working with datacenter-based workloads (Private data center or public cloud such as Azure).
  • Technical background and solid foundation in modern software engineering principles.
  • Curiosity to innovate and solve complex problems while retaining focus on maintaining timeline and goals.

Responsibilities
  • You will work with Software and Hardware Engineering to design technical solutions. You will also identify gaps and propose data-based mitigations.
  • You will define success criteria and measure against those criteria as you collaborate with others to implement solutions for cross-functional projects. You’ll coordinate and ensure alignment across teams.
  • You will represent the work of a diverse set of engineering functions to executives and represent successes and risks.
