In conjunction with the Marketing department, the incumbent will be accountable for developing sales strategies to meet overall sales growth for instruments, reagents/and service. In addition, the SeniorSales willbe responsible forimplementing strategies to build anda high degree of customer satisfaction.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for developing,implementingand driving the North American sales strategy.
Collaborate with other departments, such as Marketing, Customer Service and Operations to meet, align and implement initiatives to ensure continued growth.
Develop and execute effective tactical plans and territory development/growth strategies to increase market share and drive revenue growth.
Proficient inuseof CRM (preferably Salesforce.com) to manage field Sales activities.
Responsible for analyzing sales metrics todetermineeffectiveness of sales tactics and growthinitiatives
Responsible for the regional demand forecast process to deliver on businessKPIs.
Build andmaintainstrong relationships with key industry stakeholders, customers & partners.
Responsible for presenting the sales strategy and progress to Sr. Management.
Demonstrated success in ability to balance the need to achieve current business goals with planning and investment for futuregrowth.
Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid businessdevelopment.
Attendtraining anddeveloprelevant knowledge,techniquesand skills.
Staying abreast of and reporting on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to inform sales strategies and tactics.
Supportcontracts/proposals/quotationswithin company guidelines.
Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales and field application team, fostering a culture of excellence andaccountability.
Successfully attract, develop, andretainhighly qualified fieldassociates.
Travel required as per the business needs.
Your qualifications and experience should include:
A minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in a complex, dynamic, commercial environmentoperatingacross the Americas region
Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
A results-oriented mindset, with a strong drive to exceed sales targets and contribute to business growth.
Proven experience in leading enterprise sales and implementing go-to-market strategies.
Deep understanding of the life sciences & technology industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
Proficiencyin using Salesforce.com or a similar Customer relationship management system.
Strong leadership skillswith aprovenability to influence, inspire and lead change in a high performing Salesteam
Excellent communication (verbal and written)skills
Well-developedrelationship-buildingskills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
Proven ability to deal with difficult problems or issues; an ability toprovidea balanced perspective thatoptimizesthe trade-offs between the business financials, the business opportunities, the company strategy, and the external
